Winter activities: Skiing paradise
Chalet Aria is the dream destination for skiers and snow sports enthusiasts. Our privileged location allows you to forget your car and concentrate only on the fun.
▫︎ Immediate access to the slopes: The facility is located only 150 metres from the ski lifts of Portavescovo (turned on Sellaronda)

▫︎ Comprensorio Arabba/Marmolada: Explore a ski area of excellence that offers 62 km of slopes perfectly prepared and served by 27 ski lifts. The altitudes of the area vary from 1,446 metres up to the 3,269 metres on the impressive Marmolada glacier.
▫︎ Sellaronda (Giro dei 4 Passi): Directly from Arabba, you can enter the famous circular ski route of the Sellaronda, which offers 40 km total of panoramic slopes around the Sella massif.

The Dolomites are not just snow. During the warm season, the Fodom Valley (whose Ladin name for Arabba is Rèba) turns into a green paradise for cyclists, hikers and nature lovers.
▫︎ Road Bike (Road Cycling): Challenge yourself on the legendary Dolomite passes. The hotel is a strategic starting point for reaching the Pordoi Pass (9.3 km), the Campolongo Pass (6 km) and the Falzarego Pass (12 km).
▫︎ Mountain Bike: Technical, dirt tracks and adrenaline-pumping single tracks suitable for all levels of fitness.
▫︎ Trekking and Hiking: From family routes to the most demanding challenges. Among the top routes accessible from Arabba are the Arabba Geological Trail (12 km loop starting from the Rifugio Gorza), the Bec de Roces, the Viel dal Pan and the historical routes at Col di Lana.
▫︎ Vie Ferrate and Climbing: There are numerous via ferrata routes in the surrounding area with varying degrees of difficulty (5a to 7b+), as well as climbing gyms and climbing schools nearby.
